A new investigation series featuring Troy Dunn (The Locator), the
nation’s foremost expert in locating and reuniting long-lost persons is
set to premier Jan. 17,2014.
Hot off the success of the net’s first true crime effort “Cold Justice,”
TNT has given the green-lit “APB with Troy Dunn”. Each episode will
feature missing persons expert Troy Dunn as he helps
answer the pleas of those who are desperate to bring home long-lost
loved ones from around the nation. America will be able to get involved
with the search, thanks to a new social media app that will be
integrated into the show.
“APB with Troy Dunn” is produced by Shed Media US (Who Do You Think You Are?, The Real Housewives of New York City), with Dunn, Pamela Healey, Dan Peirson and Ted Haimes (The Locator, Aftermath With William Shatner) serving as executive producers.

In 1962, when Lori was 2 months old, her mother shot and killed Lori's 10-year-old brother and 7-year-old sister. Lori was raised by her biological father and stepmom, who never told Lori anything about the tragedy. When Lori was 14, she discovered the truth about her past, and two years ago, more than 40 years since the shooting, Lori learned that her biological mother gave birth to another daughter while in the state's custody. With the help of Troy Dunn, Lori meets her sister.

It's Never Too Late;
In 1990, Troy Dunn helped his mother (who was adopted as a baby) locate her own biological family. That single event caused him and his then-partner to build an organization that did one thing - help people reunite with long lost friends and family members. Over the past 24 years, Troy and his team have assisted thousands of people worldwide in doing just that. He launched his own website, TroyTheLocator.com, to help even more people in their pursuit of a long lost friend and family member. From 2008 to 2010, Troy starred in the series The Locator.
Those who wish to have Troy investigate their case in the hopes of finding their loved ones can submit their information.
Mr. Troy Dunn is the author of It's Never Too Late: Lessons for Life from The Locator;

It is said that each of us are nothing more and nothing less than a sum total of the people who have passed through our lives. Those influential people, be they family, friends, co-workers, military buddies or former loves, have each walked some portion of our life journey with us. While many of those people became the background characters of our forward-moving lives, some, a precious few, had extraordinary impacts in our experience and played very important roles in shaping our current self.
“when I fix a fractured family … I’ve given them a little bit of what I feel like I have”-- Troy Dunn
